Dandy December

Well this year has been quite the journey.  But this last month has been out to get me.

Ups and Downs aside, I think I've come out a little bit ahead this year - regarding how I feel about myself.  Of course there are things I'm still working on, but I'm doing alright

Past few days were rough though, sign fell from the ceiling right onto my face at work.  Left me with this cool facial scar (not deep enough to need stitches, so it'll heal fine).  Darn thing also bruised my eye, but it got better

Otherwise December was great.  Christmas was a blast, though we didn't get around to building that Gingerbread House.  Still have to do that one of these days while I still have the kits.  I'll post a pic if it turns out looking nice.  Brother going through another round of Chemo, he's sad about all the weight he lost, but we all think he looks good (he thinks he looks better "fat and ugly" as he describes himself).

Anyways, I salute you all, my fine friends and DA family.  We made it through this year, and are moving forward to a new one.  Let's make the most of it

Work hard, follow your dreams, and don't let people get away with pushing you around in your dreams.  I'm looking at you John DeMarcus, I was going to win that dream obstacle course and you tackled me from behind.  How lame is that though?  I'm going to give him the "stink eye" next time I see him
